Good Shepherd Montessori School

Faculty and Staff

Good Shepherd Montessori School attracts and retains an experienced, dedicated, and caring faculty. We are a community of educators guided by the philosophy of Maria Montessori and the standards set forth by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS). Together, we seek to assist the child’s ability to grow, learn, and relate to others and we commit modeling respect and courtesy for our children.

Our guides, or lead teachers, are American Montessori Society (AMS) certified with years of in-class experience. Together with the guides, our assistants, administrators, and enrichment staff play an integral role in our students’ success. We hold everyone to the highest professional standard and seek out faculty and staff who embrace the Montessori ideal and share an enthusiasm for continuing their own learning and professional development.

As a community, Good Shepherd Montessori School supports creative, flexible, and sensitive faculty, and the Montessori three-year curriculum allows the faculty to gain a deep knowledge of the strengths, weaknesses, and giftedness of each child as a unique person.
